The Plácido y Grata Boutique Hotel is located in the historic center of Seville, on the distinguished Monsalves Street. This cobblestone street is emblematic of the city, home to the Museum of Fine Arts and the Monsalves Palace.
Extract from Olavide’s plan from 1771 where Monsalves Street had no exit. In 1968 it was continued through Calle del Silencio that connected Calle San Eloy with Calle de las Armas (current Calle Alfonso XII).
Halfway down the street is the Palacio de Monsalves, located on the original site of the Tous de Monsalves family and renovated by Aníbal González and Álvarez Osorio in 1904. It was the former seat, among others, of the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía. Within a radius of 300 metres is the shopping area par excellence of Seville, with the famous streets of Sierpes and Tetuán.

The historic centre of Seville is one of the largest in Europe, we invite you to wander around it and get lost in its streets and squares full of life.
We recommend the Santa Cruz quarter, the Cathedral and its surroundings, but also more alternative areas such as the Alameda de Hércules and the Barrio de la Alfalfa.
There’s nothing like being able to enjoy a city that’s structured by a river, with a restored riverbank, such as the Muelle de la Sal, and crossing the riverbank you’ll find the essence of Triana.
