Hotel Plácido y Grata is a charming four-star hotel located in Monsalves Street 4, in the heart of the historic centre of Seville.
The building preserves the style of the authentic Sevillian manor house it once was. It is a regionalist style building from the end of the 19th century, rebuilt in 1914 and consists of three completely refurbished floors in which the original architecture and design have been maintained and respected in their entirety.
The name Plácido y Grata might seem to be inherited from the old inhabitants of the house, but it is actually a fictitious name with which we want to personify the values of the hotel. Hospitality is the hallmark of the house. Good treatment, courtesy and respect, as well as the hotel itself, are the starting point to enjoy a quiet, pleasant and peaceful stay. Grata invites us to enjoy the present for what it is, a present, and to thank life for the small pleasures it gives us.
INDOORS
As we enter the hotel from the restored main gate and behind the original grille, we find a combination of arcades and marble columns that lead us to the courtyard, a space full of gardens and with a water fountain that invites us to escape and relax.
