If you visit us during the holiday, you will be pleasantly surprised by the Christmas decorations that we have prepared to welcome you to the hotel.
At Plácido y Grata, we like to celebrate the good times, always paying attention to the little details that move us and leave an unforgettable impression.
Always true to our motto, at Placido y Grata, any moment is good to take a break, look around you, and live the present moment. In order to get into the spirit of this season, the hotel reception has been embellished with Christmas decorations.
When you arrive at Plácido y Grata, you will find some luscious green arrangements adorning the jamb at the entrance. They will lead you to the courtyard, where a large decorated fir tree coexists in perfect harmony with other plants.
For us, at Plácido y Grata, it’s very important to surround ourselves with some vegetation. In all the areas of the hotel, you can always find very different varieties of plants and flowers. You can read more about the work of our landscape designer Marta Puig here.
Once again, we have relied on the good work of Juanma González, from the floral cabinet Orangerie, to create a plant installation that fills the entrance area with magic and natural textures. Find out more about his project in this interview.
The typical Nordic decoration blends perfectly with the local tradition in the hotel building. In Plácido y Grata, classical architecture coexists in perfect harmony with the minimalist style of our Christmas decoration, creating a cozy and festive atmosphere. Natural materials embrace organic textures and gladly receive their aromas and a chromatic range in which shades of green predominate.
Always aligned with the typically Scandinavian ‘hygge’ spirit, which fosters comfort and well-being, we organized a Christmas wreath workshop led by Juanma from Orangerie in which branches, leaves, and red fruits were combined in festive creations with a personal touch.
We’d like to share these beautiful moments with you during such a special time. This one might be the perfect occasion to stay in our hotel to spend the holiday and receive the new year.
