ONE YEAR TOGETHER AT PLÁCIDO Y GRATA
We celebrated Plácido y Grata's first anniversary in the best company possible: next to all of you who have accompanied us during the first moments of this venture and those who are joining us now.
Plácido y Grata started out as a really exciting project. The studio Your Living Space along with Kiran Vasnani took on the renovation of an old manor house located in the historic center of Seville, revamping it into a boutique hotel where time stops and calm abounds.
Always with the aim to create a real haven of peace for our guests, we opted for a modern and minimalist Scandinavian-inspired design that finds the right balance with the typical architecture of the late 19th century Andalusian manor houses.
At Plácido y Grata, we take care of all the little details to offer a holistic experience in which well-being and inspiration are always guaranteed. Coming from different fields, our specialized staff contributes in many different ways to make this a unique experience.
At the celebration event, Juanma González installed his floral cabinet Orangerie in the hotel to welcome all the visitors with the fresh aromas from selected flowers.
The artist Rafael García Forcada also added an evocative note with an art installation in which he presented his still life paintings.
The smell of coffee filled the space when Jose Quiles, the head barista of Plácido y Grata’s Cafeteria, started the Nomad coffee tasting. During this activity, we were able to enjoy the flavors of specialty coffee, appreciating its rich nuances.
And it was in the evening, when jazz melodies flooded the courtyard of the hotel during the concert of Nat Ruciero Jazz Trio, the cherry on the cake for the celebration of what we hope has only been the first of many anniversaries together with you at Placido y Grata.
