The first thing that stands out upon entering Plácido y Grata’s rooms is how comfortable and serene they feel. The idea behind the interior design project was to create a setting where the guests could feel at ease and enjoy their stay to the full. We have devised comfortable spaces where it is possible to rest and let your inspiration flow freely.
The simplicity of Scandinavian design, typically minimalist, infuses the rooms with a remarkable character. Based on harmonious shapes, delicate hues, organic textures, and materials reminiscent of nature, these pieces promote an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
Both aesthetic and functional, Scandinavian design is characterized by a minimal, clean approach that combines functionality and beauty while following sustainability principles.
We believe that little details make a huge difference. All the pieces from the hotel have been carefully picked by Your Living Space, an interior design studio based in Barcelona. In their catalog, you will find furniture pieces by modern Scandinavian brands such as Ferm Living, Fredericia, Menu, &Tradition, Skagerak, Muuto, or String Furniture, as well as classic lamp designs by DCW and Santa&Cole.
The Georg stool by Skagerak -a piece in which Nordic design meets Japanese minimalism- may be the one that catches your eye.
